The natural lake resort

The unique natural lake resort Breitenbrunn, with its sand-gravel beach and its spacious sunbathing lawn, situated on a headland in front of the reed belt, offers bathing fun for young and young-at-heart.  

The secured swimming area with sun jetty and floating pontoon is taboo for surfers and all types of boats. There are plenty of showers on the beach promenade. Hot water showers, baby changing facilities for mommies and daddies, toilet facilities incl. accessible toilets for disabled and first aid station are located in the lakeside resort administration building.

The modern, well-equipped playground is safely situated in the heart of the sunbathing lawn.  

The camping and mobile home site, a lake restaurant and a lake buffet in the mobile home area (both with seasonal opening times) complete the offer.  

For the sporty swimmers there are sailing, surfing and kite schools, boat charter and a rowing club in the swimming area.

Apart from the water fun, the guest can enjoy here other free time activities such as:  inline skating, cycling and jogging on the well-developed network of paths and cycle paths. For this reason, the Ladies Triathlon has been held in the natural lake resort of Breitenbrunn for many years.
